NC IA | Was into my County office the other day and they increased the acreage by 0.5 acre around an old acreage by moving their line over on two sides by one pixel. Then because of this, they said I broke new ground and wanted me to sign a 1026 form to do a wetland and HEL determination. I refused to sign it. Nothing has changed in the 30 years that we've farmed it. The nice lady informed me I will now be out of compliance. Government and tax dollars at work! | |
