We're going to try and pick the bean fields pretty good, and I'll probably pull the strawchopper knives all the way out on the passes near the side of the fields where we pick. In the wheat, I will probably drop the straw near the edges and have it bailed. Hard to say how many bushels, but if it runs 55 bu./a., I'd guess there's about 2,000 bushels within 200' of the edges of the field. I just hope it doesn't lay down in a heavy rain between now and harvest (which is quite common around here).
