Sorry to hear about the storm. The bright side is cottonwood trees are soft I have ran several limbs the size you show through my machine without damage.I ran them in 9650s 9770s and my 680.you're thinking correctly. Check the rock door often, most times they will make a noise that you know somethings in the rock door. Watch carefully, Drive slowly, and make sure your ingestion insurance is up-to-date....Dennis
