Just thought about this. If you're outlet isn't real deep. So if you want a target depth of 4', pre rip is 3', but your outlet is only 2', don't start at 2'. Raise the plow up to a foot or so, set the min depth at a foot and go. Even if you can't get a foot of dirt over the top to start, you better have something. Otherwise the plow can't get anything to pitch down off of.
