Well, if it helps your poor ground, maybe it belongs there and your best ground needs something else? Glad you aren't throwing it out until you get yield results though.


I'm am starting to wonder that as well. Maybe keep the covers on my tougher more fragile soils. I am also open to a different crop to try but I think we are very limited with our geography. I am NOT interested in aerial application from what I have seen from neighbors attempts the last 3-4 years.

We will either plant or broadcast seed them after the soybeans come off in late Sept or early Oct.

As of now we are only trying to make the covers work on the soybean stubble which is more vulnerable then our corn stalks.
