South Texas | Could be worse in wetter climates. It's been dry here pretty much since about 2002. In the 80s it rained and we had Herefords and pinkeye and prolapse and all sorts of trouble. But then in the 90s it rained and we had charlais and brangus and very little trouble. When the rain quit we had charlais mostly, now getting more brangus, and very little trouble so I bought 3 Herefords the other week ago.
Pretty sure blackleg is worse in wetter climates. | |
