I have also made the transition from ground drive to hyd and I like the move. It seemed like so often I could not get the right population without fooling around with sprocket combinations. Hyd drive is much easier to set. If you are shopping for a relatively new planter, they will most likely be hyd drive.


I'm in agreement. We went from ground drive to hydraulic and I've been very happy. Don't plan on ever going back to ground drive.
