Ours are 9, 11, and 13. Would have similar expectations except doing their own laundry. They have to help my us do it and the oldest is sometimes ask to sort or start laundry as needed.
One of the things that I appreciate about my up-bringing is being taught how to work. I know some lazy people. And it drives me crazy.
