Lancaster, OH | I figure, if we are busy doing things, our child should be right there with us. If we are sitting around, he should be able to, also.
We had him focused on school and helping around the house. He could cook, do laundry and clean the house--more than I knew how to do. He got straight A's in school and that was the first focus.
As long as you're not providing all their services and they are taking part, I think you are good. It is also good if there is something where they have a responsibilities, not just duties. THat will teach them that people and things are counting on them. | |
