Subject: RE: Terminating annual and cereal rye

Berne, Indiana
We planted green into our cereal rye this week then burnt it down a couple days later. We just used a higher rate of glyphosate to kill it. We had a good growing season for the rye, some was 2 to 3 ft tall. Would adding a residual have done any good since it would have landed on the rye mainly? Also if the glyphosate doesn't work, will Liberty help clean it up on second app? This is our first try with planting green and using cover crops that don't winter kill
