Subject: Terminating annual and cereal rye

Rookie at covers. Seeded annual rye last August hoping for winter kill. Lots came back this spring. Sprayed quart of powermax with harness xtra and 32%. I waited 8 days and did not see much herbicide activity. Did not have courage to no-till without seeing rye dying. Field cultivated and planted. Some may still be alive. Temps were in high 60s after spraying.

I still have cereal rye to kill for soybeans. Northern Iowa. Like to hear some tips.
