N IL | Maybe this will help Keith, maybe it won't. I make AB lines just like you do because I hate having to sit there and shift lines, I'd rather bring them up and go. What I do is have different projects in farm works with all of my AB lines. For example, 60' lines are in one project, 40' lines are in another etc. This allows me to keep all of my lines completely separated. Then before each season I clear all of the field data out of my displays and just load whichever lines I need on each machine. This way whether it's me or my dad running the machine there are only AB lines in that display that work for that specific machine.
Besides having lines for different implement widths I also have lines or odd and even years since we strip allot of corn on corn. By doing it this way I can spend the winter getting my AB lines sorted out and when we get to the field there's no question at all which AB lines should be used. |
