Aussiebagger, I know very little about the dairy industry but on the subject of conversion I think that you may have made an understandable error. I think that you have assumed that 1 cwt is the imperial 112 pounds. I also believe that in the US 1 cwt is taken as 100 pounds. I stand to be corrected on this.
