Brookston clay loam soil-8" topsoil-good tile.....because of rotation issues we had 1 farm that had beans 4 yrs. in a row--1/3 had hog manure ,1/3 commercial fertilizer and last 1/3 nothing......yield differences across 3 areas never exceeded 1 bu. per acre difference ....usually we are c b w or cb rotation ...on our soils soybeans seldom respond too direct fertilizer
