This is the thing I find interesting. The move up in soybeans was accompanied by a corresponding move in the Real. If I did my math correctly the previous price of bean in Brazil was 33 Reals per bushel. When the dust settled the price was 33 Reals per bushel. Previously we thought that the price of soybeans was set by the Gulf of Mexico price. Now, it seems that the price of beans is set at Santos Harbor Brazil. |
