Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | We have all heard of all the surplus soybeans supposedly stockpiled in Argentina. According to the WASDE Argentina will start with 31.7 MMT, grow 57 MMT and end up with 29 MMT. In contrast Brazil will start with 19, grow 100 and end up with 19 while the US will start with 5, grow 107 and end up with 12.
And we've heard all about the reason for Argentina's stocks, namely export taxes but really? Their carryout is 50% of production? Even in the period 2010 to 2012 when beans were valuable their carryover amounted to about the same 19-21 MMT.
I'd like to have somebody with wide experience in Argentina confirm their stocks.
