Central Nebraska

milofarmer1 - 3/7/2016 21:25 Another vote for the Firestone air bags. I have a first generation Tundra that has very long and squishy springs in the back. Put a few mineral blocks, a couple cases of herbicide on the back and it would bump the overloads. Put airbags on and it will carry loads like a real truck. It is amazing how much better it handles with a load and about 20 psi in the bags. Like a whole different vehicle. Keep thinking I would like to add some to my other pickup. Ought to be standard on all pickups if you ask me. No way you can get the variable support with just plain leaf springs.

I used to dread hauling the skid steer around.  Its an S250 and I use a 20' bumper pull trailer.  It squatted so bad!  Its amazing how much better it handles it when everything is level!  I even thought I stopped better.
