Schochoh Ky | Hello again Jon , nice meeting you at classic. I have a very good friend that sells chief bins and erects them across the whole USA. We always go to dinner with the CEO and the eastern and western corn belt sales managers ,for Cheif , while in Louisville for the farm show. I always try to figure out where the action is in storage , building . We all know every farmer has built lots in the last five years , so I asked if sales would be down because of the depressed farm economy, and to my surprise they predicted sales increases this year. They commented lots of ethonal plants were doubling their storage capacities. I think they have a plan , and its called build storage and flatten the basis. When they manage to get a 60 plus day supply on hand , those special weekend deals of an extra 15-20 cents will go away for good. One should be aware what the local end users are doing and take full advantage of any opertunity that arises . | |
