Golly seems like gasoline prices are really on the upswing... $1.549 @ Jenks Oklahoma on the way down.. popped up to $1.65 and higher.. Cheapest was.. Iw
believe $1.489'ish in the big easy.. as high as $1.75 in Texas..  taxes are cheaper in Okla.. so coasted into Ardmore.. $1.599 but just went by Perry.. and they got $1.999 on the board... we're gonna be over $2.00 in a pretty big area at this pace... every fill up was 10% ethano.. even in the heart big oil country.. ethanol free at Moore Ok was $1.85 vs $1.65 across the street.

Would have liked to gone out and seen the big refinery on the horizon sw of nola.. massive.. Baytown Texas was pretty impressive also last night..

For all the doom and gloom in ag right now.. we're holding our own..

Phillips down the road here is 1.699... quite the. Variance..  It's gonna be important that we raise enough corn this year going into post El Nino.. even Bryce Anderson admitted that next year could be a challenging year..

Maize said he was thinking about building more storage... hmmm?  Then again he's planning on feasting on some late summer basis weakness based on stocks...

The kid at the Cargill booth was pushing locking in basis contracts..  Matt Bennett questioned that strategy in his comments as being risky if we get a board price break.. then locked yourself out of basis improvement.. ???

I know ethanol margins are still tight to non existent but maybe the summer driving season gives us a lift...??

Hmmm...
