My buddy had a lbz dmax. Cabs been off 2x in 74k. Other buddy had a bad turbo when he traded it. Know of enough mildly tuned dmax that had an allison get rebuilt.
You ask me all those older trucks sucked for the price. Ford 6.0 issues , gm chassis was a wet noodles with impala brakes, and dodge is a dodge. They all take plenty of money to keep running if you are working them.
I'm almost ready to buy a 6.0 Ford.....
