If he is short sighted enough not to budge on getting his 100K a year to 'maintain his lifestyle', you don't have a chance.
He has to understand if he has a cow and drinks all the milk it produces, he will be happy. If he drinks a little less and sells enough milk to buy another cow, then he can feed the kids as well......
I get what you are trying to do, I think long term it would benefit his children greatly.
Explain to me how or why he should accept any risk in retirement too provide benefits/inheritance to some one else ......if there is that pension income I expect there is other monies he will leave....honestly it sounds like someone wanting someone elses money -read pension |
