A week ago the ballast went out on one of my 8 foot T12 lights so I went to a big box store and bought an LED light to replace the T12. The new LED puts out enough light but causes the AM radio in the shop to buzz. I did an internet search and it seems that LED's can interfere with radio signals. What do you guys know about LED's and keeping them from interfering with radios?

It all depends on the electronics inside and many other factors. In my shop the LEDs under the loft are 2' from the radio and I get zero interference. Drive the pickup in the shop with the lights on and I get static.

Best thing you can do is get a cheap TV antenna, Mount it outside the shop and hook it to the radio. Doesn't matter how you hook it to the radio, usually it fixes the problem.
