mn
I sell the 8' in any pin style for $44. They are 44 watts. That will be 30-40% brighter than the fluorescent. A lot of guys get hung up on lumen ratings but you can't look at total lumens when you compare fluorescent to led. The reason is fluorescent lumens are divided up between 360 degree of light output. That means the top 180 degrees have to be reflected back down to get to the ground. If you take a brand new high end T5 fluorescent approximately 25% of the light never reaches the ground. As the reflectors get dirty and lights age that number goes up. LEDs project all their light downward in a 170 degree beam. No light is wasted upward. They also throw light further.

I have some new ones coming that you do not have to bypass the ballast. I the past I had not recommended them because when the ballast fails, the lights won't work. With the new ones you can install them with the ballast and if the ballast fails later you can just bypass it and the same bulb will continue to work.
