takes 5 seconds to do a calibration with the integra and impact plate. you can set the monitor for calibration while turning on the headland for the next pass. combine into a wagon or truck, end calibration. later on when you have that load weighed you enter the weight.


In fairness, it takes longer than that. 4 to 6 calibration loads of 4000-6000lbs, each taken at a different grain flow. The cal load taken at lowest grain flow in soybeans can take 20 minutes (covering the amount of ground that would normally be covered in 4 minutes at a normal speed). I can do a corn calibration (fastest) in under an hour, and a soybean calibration (slowest) in an hour and a half. It takes a second man to run the weigh wagon while the combine continues to harvest, and harvester productivity is cut roughly in half during that time, so you do lose 30 minutes productivity calibrating corn, and 45 minutes calibrating beans.
