Not grip. It's a supplement to one's individual policy. Pretty sure anything above the 85% level is a private product, therefore not subsidized by RMA. This makes the cost higher, but will probably work for higher risk farms.
So if you normally go 85% coverage, with enterprise or optional units, then you can add 5 or 10 more percent points of coverage. But again, it is not cheap as there is no subsidy above 85%
Correct, this is for a MPCI policy, not GRIP. The premium is unsubsidized as it is a private product. Sure looks cool with 200 bushel APHs, but it sure costs a pretty penny. |
