Nebraska aka the boondocks | I agree with your second point. My experience in life is that loud pushy folks seem to get their way, or "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." When it comes to a lot of topics on this site, what is never brought up is how influence, charisma, hobnobbing, relationship building, leverage etc. work and are implemented in almost every transaction, to get what people want. I am of the opinion, and perhaps misguided and wrong, that if etol falls it will be like nuclear winter out here. I don't think that oil wants the RFS just repealed, they want etol annihilated. Frankly, I dont' want to take a chance to see what happens. Although somewhat gratifying, arguing with someone on the internet that is anti etol, accomplishes nothing. What does accomplish something is to contact and "fund" the people we pay and vote, to leverage our position for etol. So, I am guess I am willing to jump into the muck and fight, rather than leave it to what some may call the "market." |
