Nebraska aka the boondocks | Of course oil doesn't want etol as an oxygenate, they would still be pushing mtbe on everyone if they could without regard for man or beast. Kind of one of the points of the RFS. Ethanol insider, to your point that etol will survive for the many reasons you point out... What happens when the RFS fades away and etol is still alive, as you suggest, but most folks including oil expected it to die, do you not think they will use another tactic to kill it? Such as say some new epa study or regulation? Or whatever... Imo the pro etol crowd needs to use as much leverage in the senate as possible to buy as much time as possible, because it is very apparent this topic not open to discussion with most folks. |
