Negative interest is so far out of this world it just does not compute in my head. I read about stuff, good ideas, about what might or might not happen but the reality is no one really knows. A few short years ago negative interest might have been an academic novelty but would have thought to be an impossibility in actual practice. We are truly in uncharted waters.
I think central banks are just flying by the seat of their pants at this point. Just trying to keep the system from imploding.
