Southern Missouri
Levee on Illinois side across from cape Girardeau gave way as they expected and lowered predicted crest at cape from 50 down to 48.86 which it hit Friday evening and is headed down now, is a mess and a new record crest at cape for the Mississippi, the Ohio river hits the Mississippi south of cape and the river gets vastly larger there and thank goodness the Ohio hasn't been dumping in a deluge with the Mississippi as happened in 2011 so still looks bad South from cape but if no floods for a few days in the north and south of cape is normal shouldn't be record crests as was here in cape but still bad enough
