Eastern Iowa | In the 30's FDR created the welfare system to help the masses of unemployed people get on thier feet due to the depression. 85 years later welfare is still going strong, so are we still in a depression?
It is interesting how the Farm Bill supports Welfar, and farmers both. I know many growers in my area got a government check this year, did any of them give it back? Probably not, so we are all just as guilty as those we are criticizing at Wal Mart.
