before we go to majority confinement cow/calf operations. Why? 1) Because the soccer moms want less and less hormone and meds in their meat and I'm afraid that we'll have to have more and more of those to raise calves from birth to butcher in confinement. 2)What is the land/building cost per calf raised in confinement as compared to pasture. Can I raise 50 calves in one of garvo's building cheaper than having the pasture to do it? IDK. JMO
