Has anyone fattened old cull cows on corn silage ration. According to the Cowculator spreadsheet a dry mid gestation cow should gain slightly over 3#/day on a 60# corn silage and 2# whole cottonseed ration which are 2 ingredients that I have access to.
Have a hard time believing they would gain that well so just wanting to see if anyone had actual experience.
Feeding cull cows corn silage??
