Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | We tmr feed the fall calving herd when on feed 20lbs 11%protien grass hay / 5 lbs feeder quality alfalfa / and 25lbs corn silage and the cull pen gets this ration out of convenience, when culls only I would go 10lbs grass 5 alfalfa and raise corn silage to 35 lbs, all this is as fed and for our cows which are northern and probably larger and colder environment you would step down on % lbs, we have had good luck with this ration. |
