I wish you wouldn't have posted this on "Kitchen Table". I know many of you are just having fun, but this site is supposed to be more pleasant than some of your posts. Please, take it to a different site. Like you said, your Grandma loves this cat; she just doesn't like its behavior. You have no right to make decisions for her if she is in her right mind. You may give her suggestions--not the ones posted here--and help her work with the cat, but don't get rid of it behind her back. She may not forgive you. My main suggestion would be to have the cat neutered. That will do a lot to many of the issues you describe. Of course, it doesn't sound like you would like to spend any money on it, but it would become a more socially acceptable cat if you did. Have some respect for it and your grandmother.
