mud creek - 8/31/2015 09:33

I tried this a couple years ago using turnips, without much success. Nearly all the seed carried to the end and went out the end gun. I was just using my regular drops with i-wobs though, perhaps other nozzles would work better?

I think that is why the manure guns, I don't know the range of those with maybe a 50 psi system pressure...maybe 60 feet??? So you might have about 10-12 guns/pivot.

Just had a brain explosion!!!!!!!!

What about a stand pipe for each gun that dropped down into the pipe to pull the water flow off the bottom of the pipe!!!!!! So if your seed is settling out and sliding across the bottom of the pipe it will suck it up? The major problem is that all pivot irrigation has the nozzles drawing their water from the top of the pipe, and anything that settles in water doesn't go of the sprinklers(sand) and fills the pipe.

I better run out and patent this ides before someone else beats me to it!!!
