cornbore - 8/28/2015 09:56 Exports are only 12 % of all US demand. We may be talking a 8-12% decrease in supplies. Feed demand demand and ethanol production can eat that up in no time. I don't think you better count on ethanol to make up for any lost exports. There are only so many plant that can produce ethanol and all most all of them were running at full capacity last year. We cannot get more demand from ethanol than we had last year and I would say this years ethanol production probable will be lower than last year. I am not sure how profitable the livestock industry is to be creating more demand either. |
