Subject: RE: Iowa rain and beans

I think if you place iowa and minnesota at 178 and 180 you would be within a bushel or two of hitting it. both are are all time highs btw, but not the 185-195 they board has been trading, so they can make up the bad spots with a pencil. The other spots are just craptastic in my opinion. And are getting smaller since the rain has shut off. Ken Rulon has stated he thinks indiana bean yields will equal the drought year of 2012, WOW. Forget about the bears continually bringing up export demand as a red harding. Exports are only 12 % of all US demand. We may be talking a 8-12% decrease in supplies. Feed demand demand and ethanol production can eat that up in no time. Both cattle (increasing the herd), Pork (No more baby pig diseases killing em off) and finally poultry (increasing production with no Avian flu in the future). We Don't need china playing games with exports the tighten the crops. Our carryouts or smaller then advertised right now but the emotions of china have to calm down first.
