N.W. Illinois | I have no experience sidedressing potash at V4-V5. However around "here" the N that was side dressed at that earlier of a stage (V4-V5) was either gone or had moved moved down through the soil profile to be of much help to the corn due to the wet June we had. My visual observation is corn side dressed at V8 or later looks much, much better than the corn that was side dressed earlier with N. This isn't the first you I've seen this as wet Junes seem to be the norm here anymore.
We dropped in 15 gallons of 32% and 3 gallons of thiosul. This was a planned application, not a rescue. The majority of our N was applied in the fall as anhydrous.
