Plenty of MN is going to be quite variable.  I've walked the corn, it's not all as great as everyone thinks.  Granted, there's not any zero spots like usual and the 225-250 stretches will be longer.  There's a lot of ground with little to no tile that was planted in great conditions but stayed fully saturated from emergence to the beginning of August.  There's N deficiency where the roots are shallow.  Every time it rained we got 2-3-4" it seemed.  The cold wet weather right after planting hurt the population on some of it but that was mostly hybrid dependent.  Will MN set a new record, very possible.  Will MN blow the record out of the water, we will see?
