Subject: RE: The 2015 Pro Farmer Crop Tour Day #1

Leesburg, Ohio
FWIW, just drove from home (SW Ohio) to Paulding county and back home yesterday, and did not see any fields that would be a zero. OK, maybe one or two. A couple fields came close to that looking from the road. An occasional field not planted, but very few. Very spotty, uneven crops pretty much everywhere north of Celina, through Van Wert, on up to Paulding with lots of holes that would be zero yield, but almost always the majority of the same field looked OK, just very uneven. Never have seen so many fields look so un-even so late in the season from excess water. Lots of small spots in most fields that will be under 100 yield I would guess.

OTOH, much of the areas we drove through in the west-central and SW parts of Ohio looked very good. Darke county and southern Mercer was great! Champaign, Clark, Greene, and Clinton looked good on the way home.

Earlier this summer we drove through Fayette, Ross, Pickaway, Fairfield, Perry, Muskingum, and Coshocton, and things looked very good there.
