So, to tell this story I have to say I've had cancer twice.
Doing well. Things look good. But, you never know.
Recently, a farmer in the area went to one of my landladies
I've farmed for for 21 years. Said to her, I hear steve isn't going
to be around long and I'd sure like to rent your land. He would have
zero info. about it, good or bad. I don't know him well but I'm told
he's very aggressive and will try anything. I'm believing that.
The landlady called and said lease is up this year. I'd like to make it
for 3 years this time. We've always done 2. Now that's the type of
lady I like to farm for. I don't think we've had a problem in 21 years.
Hard to understand what some will do. Just some food for thought.......
I have similar idiots in a 30 mile radius of me. First time I was made aware of it was when my Dad got cancer in 1986. Second time was when he died 20 years later..3rd time was when my wife got sick 3 years ago.......Thank goodness I have understanding land owners to deal with too. |
