Subject: There's a first time for everythig

After 39 years of walking the planet I have always took my own health for granted. It was always someone else who was in the hospital. After a day of increasing discomfort I made the decision at 2 am last night there was something wrong, and I wasn't gonna be able to tough it out and headed to the ER.

I got my appendix removed at 8 am this morning. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer, the doc said it was pretty huge by the time they got to it. It might burst at any time.

So what about other folks...how difficult is it for you to surrender and head to the doctor?

I went from absolutely miserable at 7am, to eating some dinner in bed and watching Tombstone on TV. Thank goodness they got that poison outta me.
That might even send me home today.
