20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana | In Missouri at least, their was or still is a program for landlords who rented CRP ground to beginning farmers. I don't remember the percentages, but the land owner got to receive a small portion of the CRP payment as well as any/all rent the farmer offered for the land to row crop it. (Cattle grazing may have included but idk that for sure).
I have 2 friends from Missouri who were involved in this. One friend was on the farming end of it, and the other had family who was on the renting out end of it... |
