North End I-15
I broke an axel shaft off a Case 600 years back. We jacked it up and tied a two wheeled axel with a long tongue under the housing . Locked the brake and drove it home 5 miles through field and prairie . Worked slick. Neighbor said it would not work .
Another time I snapped a front axel hub off my B120 IHC sprayer pickup. I used a 10' piece of 4" heavy wall tubing under the front axel , and tied it to the frame of the Truck. Used a heavy bar on the 3 point of my Ford 4600 tractor . picked up the front end-and towed it home . amazing what one can cobble up to make do.
