SE Nebraska

Poor farmer - 7/4/2015 16:42 Here are acouple of pictures of a corn field from my area that was sidedressed about a month ago when corn was about 4 inches tall. A month later it has a wide area of the field that looks like these pictures and is common around our area of Illinois. What can we expect yield wise from this corn and is there anything that can be done that is cost effective to improve it. Alot of guys have given up on their corn. A neighbor was in the local paper saying he just passed 20 inches of rain for the month of June. I am 58 years old and have never seen this poor of crops where water never stood. Urea is being flown on by a few guys but don't think that will help much either.
