NE Miss | Our soils are chalk based meaning you dig down anywhere, you hit limerock. Sometimes its its 3 inches, sometimes its 3 feet and thats pretty constant across the east side of MS. So, the 'cure' would be to remove the limerock, which is impossible. We have had pretty good success with the foliars and increasing tissue test levels which means we are getting the nutrients into the plants one way or another, which is the common goal, whether dry, liquid, or foliar.
First and foremost, dont go around telling people whats profitable on THEIR farm, cause I doubt youv'e ever stepped foot on mine. | |
