Creal rye would probably come on earlier there. I like grazing rape here. It comes on earlier than both. I think it would overwinter there and come on first. Not sure.
I use a blend of rape, cereal rye, and ryegrass. Here that makes early, mid, and late season grazing. ( November to May 1.)
