Yes you should still do it. Most research I read says this.


1. 20 years ago, corn did not need as much n after tassel
2. Now, many hybrids use 40-50% of nitrogen after tassel
3. Longer day corn logically will use even more percent wise after tassel and 109 is "long day corn" (shoft day corn is a shorter grain fill period

Only unknowns are what is your CEC and om. More OM THE more THAT will Be Released AND THE more cec THE less It will Leach
