For me it depends. My town job has rotating shifts. It doesn't help on my first Monday midnight shift (actually Tuesday morning for the rest of the world) at 3 or 4 in the morning. I do know that I can't function at all when I wake up until I get some coffee or pop with caffeine into my system. Yes I take a multivitamin every day.
