You refuse to get down off your high -know it all horse and understand what growers 500 mi south of you are dealing with.
Cripes I hate the words can't and won't. Buy a truck. Yesterday I delivered a $4400 load of wheat straw 770 miles (round trip) from where it was grown and you are telling me that you can't make money on trucking grain to a buyer somewhere. Even with your dinky little tandem trailers you must be able to scale $8000+ worth of grain on a load. I'm really running short on sympathy.
Two types of people in this world: People that whine and complain and those that find a way. Which one are you? Personally, I don't care. Just continue to make your local elevator and Bunge etc rich and complain about it on NAT. Someone will stroke you but not me. Good grief, how did America get built anyway? Figure out who the players in the supply chain are and get in there and fill the gaps. Woe is you.
